What do I need to become a Check Crafters Affiliate?
All you need is a web site that is up and running.

Are all persons/companies eligible to become affiliates?
We do not accept affiliates whose sites promote SPAM as outlined in our terms & conditions. Your site should:

  • Generate sufficient traffic to our website(s)
  • Attract a customer base that may be interested in our products
  • Not promote violence
  • Not promote pornographic material
  • Not promote discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
  • Not promote illegal activities
  • Not violate the intellectual property rights of our company

Can anyone from any country sign up as an affiliate? Or is this limited to US residents only?
The affiliate program is open to residents of all countries and is not limited to US residents only. However, only products specifically available for the US market are offered on our sites. Payments will be made in US dollars.

When and what commission will I be paid?
Signing up with our Affiliate Program could mean that you earn up to 25% of each sale generated via your website.

Commission Sales ($) Generated by Affiliate/Quarter
15% of sale (minus tax & shipping) Up to $1000 in sales
20% of sale (minus tax & shipping) $1001 – $6000 in sales
25% of sale (minus tax & shipping) More than $6000 in sales
5% of any second tier sale will be paid to affiliates for any sale that the affiliate has recruited to this Affiliate Program.

Affiliates with a commission of $75 or higher are paid on a quarterly basis. Any commissions totaling less than $75 will be carried over to the next quarter and paid at the quarter's end if total commissions generated are $75 or over.

What is a 2nd Tier Sale?
When you are a Check Crafters Affiliate you have access to a personal administration page. On this page there is the option to e-mail your contacts that have web sites that you believe would be a good fit for the Check Crafters program. If any of these contacts are accepted onto the program you are credited for each sale that their site generates with an additional commission rate of 5%. So, the more 2nd tier affiliates you have, the more commission you're eligible to receive!

How much money can I expect to earn by promoting your affiliate program?
It is difficult for us to give a definitive answer. It ultimately depends on what extent you are successful in promoting Check Crafters. The more work put in, the more money you can expect to earn. It also depends on the quantity of traffic your site enjoys, if you produce a newsletter, how many subscribers your newsletter has and how extensively you promote our products.

Check Crafters offers higher commission rates than our competitors, so if you are willing to put in the work necessary to be a successful affiliate, you can expect a substantial increase in your income.

Why has your commission total dropped today from what it was yesterday?
This is because at least once a month we receive information on the number of cancelled orders placed via Check Crafters. When an order is placed via your web site, and this order is later cancelled, we will need to charge back the amount of commission you had initially been credited for on this order. The sale was not completed, and therefore, we cannot award your site with commission on a cancelled order.

Why would a customer cancel their order?
There are several reasons for this, a customer may change their mind about the order placed, but usually the reason for the cancellation of an order is due to security procedures.

When orders are taken over the web by the sites featured on Check Crafters, AVS - Address Verification is performed. For security reasons, the companies featured on Check Crafters cannot produce an order if the personalization, shipping and billing addresses don't match. When they receive an order that fails AVS they attempt to verify ownership of the account by checking their database for previous orders and calling the bank for verification. If still unable to verify, the customer is contacted and asked to provide proof of ownership. A high number of customers never respond to this request, and if proof is not received within a period of 20 days the order is cancelled. The companies featured on Check Crafters cannot afford to allow fraudulent orders to be processed.

Cancelled orders affect an affiliate's commission total as any cancelled order will show up on the affiliate's account as having been charged back. (See above for further information on charge backs)

How are we tracking your sales?
When a potential customer clicks on the Check Crafters banner, text or link located on your site, they will be directed to the Check Crafters homepage. The affiliate software will set a cookie with your affiliate ID number within the customer’s browser, set at 60 days. Once this cookie has been placed, it cannot be overwritten by another Check Crafters affiliate cookie if a customer happens to click through from another site within the 60-day period.

When customers make a purchase, you will automatically be credited with the sale and your commissions will be updated. You can view your account activity at any time via a password-protected area on our Affiliate Program tracking site.

How do I create links to Check Crafters?
We provide you with banners (headers and footers, skyscrapers, smaller right/left skyscrapers, pop-ups), text links and other creatives to place on your website or in your e-mail messages and newsletters that link back to Check Crafters. Affiliates may choose an image specific to their site, or choose several images to display. The link can point to any page on any of the Check Crafters sites.
